The Association for Manitoba Archives
established its Advisory Services Programme in 1990. Advisory
Services is one of several programmes offered by the Association
to support and encourage the development of sustainable archives
in Manitoba.
What we do:
The Advisory Services Programme provides:

advice to archival institutions
working to improve procedures and practices |

 |
advice to organisations
desiring to care for their archival records |
 |
 |
advice to organisations
that may wish to start an archives |
How:
Advice and information may be delivered through site assessment,
individual consultation and/or workshops.
Who is eligible:
Members of the Association for Manitoba Archives, not-for-profit
organisations, or businesses that have been in existence
for a minimum of five years and do not have an agreement
with an existing archives, and individuals holding significant
records.

please contact the AMA Co-ordinator.
Note: Eligible applicants must be willing to make their
archives accessible to the public on a regular basis within
a reasonable period of time after the completion of the
advisory process.
